The 375LM is the recommended remote when you don't know your opener's brand or model — most useful for renters, new homeowners, or anyone with a mixed-brand household. Universal mode adds about 10 seconds to the pairing process.
Programming the 375LM
Universal pairing requires holding two buttons together to put the remote into "match-frequency" mode before tapping the opener's learn button.
- Press and hold the top button + middle button on the 375LM at the same time until the LED blinks rapidly (~5 seconds).
- Release. The 375LM will scan all supported frequencies for 30 seconds — press the learn button on your opener now.
- Press and hold the desired button on the 375LM until the opener's motor light blinks twice. Pairing is complete.
Repeat the full sequence per button. Each button can be paired to a different brand of opener — for example, button 1 to a Liftmaster purple, button 2 to a Genie Intellicode, button 3 to a Chamberlain HD950.
