Each enrolled finger counts as one stored print — a typical family of four enrolling both index fingers fills 8 of the 20 slots. For PIN-only access at lower cost, order the 377LM.

Enrolling fingerprints on the 379LM

Pair the keypad with your opener once, then enroll up to 20 fingerprints — one user at a time.

  1. At the opener, press the purple "learn" button. Within 30 seconds, hold any enrolled finger on the 379LM scanner — the motor light blinks twice and pairing is complete.
  2. On the keypad, press the SETTINGS button and enter your master PIN (default is 0-0-0-0; change it on first use). Select ADD FINGERPRINT.
  3. Place the same finger on the scanner three times in succession — a chime confirms each scan. The fingerprint is stored in the next available slot (1–20).

Repeat step 3 for each additional finger. To remove a fingerprint, enter SETTINGS → REMOVE → slot number. The 379LM does not store actual fingerprint images — only an irreversible mathematical signature.
