Gate operators Mixed-fleet retrofits Commercial openers

The 412HM's killer feature is dual compatibility: it learns both modern 390 MHz Security+ rolling-code remotes and the older billion-code DIP-switch remotes. Ideal when you're replacing an old receiver but tenants still hold legacy fobs.

Programming the 412HM

Mount the antenna, wire to the operator board, then learn each remote — Security+ rolling-code and billion-code DIP-switch remotes pair with the same procedure.

  1. Wire the 412HM to your gate operator or opener control board. Set the power jumper to match your operator (12 V DC or 18–35 V AC/DC).
  2. Press the learn button on the 412HM. Choose high-security or normal-security mode per the manual.
  3. Press the desired button on each remote within the learn window — Security+ remotes pair instantly; billion-code remotes pair after their DIP-switch sequence is read.
  4. Repeat for each additional remote up to capacity.

When mixing remote types, use normal-security mode (31 codes) for capacity. The 412HM auto-detects which protocol each remote uses.

What customers say

★★★★★

HOA gate with a fleet of 20-year-old 62LMs. The 412HM ate every one of them and the new 972LMs we're rolling out. Saved us from re-issuing remotes to 80 households.

★★★★★

Backwards compatibility is the whole reason I bought this. Old shop remotes still work, new ones do too. Exactly what was advertised.
