The 81LM is the commercial-grade equivalent of the 61LM, but with 10 DIP switches instead of 9. Used in apartment-complex gates and commercial overhead doors. Confirm your receiver has 10 switches before ordering.
Programming the 81LM
Match the 10 DIP switches inside the remote to the 10 DIP switches on the receiver.
- Open the back cover of the 81LM and choose any pattern across the 10 DIP switches (up or down).
- Open the receiver and set every switch on the receiver block to the same position.
- Replace covers and test. The remote should activate the gate or door immediately.
For property managers programming many fobs to one receiver: every fob in the same gate group must use the identical 10-switch pattern.
