Passport remotes carry a unique factory-enrolled ID โ€” they cannot be programmed onto consumer Security+ openers. If your property uses a residential opener with a colored learn button, order the 370LM instead.

Enrolling the CPTK-1 at the receiver

Passport remotes use individual enrollment so each fob can be later revoked without affecting the others. Property managers handle this once at the receiver.

  1. At the Passport receiver controller, press the "ENROLL" button. The display will prompt for a remote ID.
  2. Press the button on the CPTK-1 once. The receiver reads the unique factory ID and assigns the next sequential slot.
  3. Confirm enrollment on the controller display. The CPTK-1 is now active and individually revocable.

Lost or stolen fobs can be revoked from the controller without re-enrolling everyone else โ€” this is the key advantage of Passport over DIP-switch fobs.

What customers say

We issue these to all 88 residents in our community. When one is lost, we revoke just that ID โ€” nobody else gets re-keyed.
