Passport remotes carry a unique factory-enrolled ID — they cannot be programmed onto consumer Security+ openers. If your property uses a residential opener with a colored learn button, order the 370LM instead.
Enrolling the CPTK-1 at the receiver
Passport remotes use individual enrollment so each fob can be later revoked without affecting the others. Property managers handle this once at the receiver.
- At the Passport receiver controller, press the "ENROLL" button. The display will prompt for a remote ID.
- Press the button on the CPTK-1 once. The receiver reads the unique factory ID and assigns the next sequential slot.
- Confirm enrollment on the controller display. The CPTK-1 is now active and individually revocable.
Lost or stolen fobs can be revoked from the controller without re-enrolling everyone else — this is the key advantage of Passport over DIP-switch fobs.
