The trinary 10-switch coding gives 59,049 combinations — many more than the binary 9-switch Liftmaster 61LM. Set every switch up, middle, or down.
Programming the Delta-3 DT
Match the 10 trinary DIP switches inside the remote to the receiver — no learn-button sequence required.
- Open the back of the Delta-3 DT. Note the position of all 10 DIP switches (each can be up, middle, or down).
- Open the receiver and set the matching 10-switch DIP block to the same pattern.
- Replace covers, install the battery, and test. Range will be 100+ feet line-of-sight.
For households with multiple Delta-3 fobs: every fob in the same opener group must use the identical 10-switch pattern.
