The 3089-11 is the standard go-to remote for properties using a Multicode 1090 receiver. The "-11" suffix indicates one button + one channel.

Programming the 3089-11

Match the 12 binary DIP switches inside the remote to the receiver. No learn-button sequence required.

  1. Open the back of the 3089-11. Note the position of all 12 DIP switches (each up or down).
  2. Open the Multicode receiver and set the matching 12-switch DIP block.
  3. Replace covers and test. Multicode receivers typically have 50โ€“100 feet range.

Property managers: each fob shares its 12-bit code with the gate. Avoid all-up or all-down patterns to reduce conflict risk with neighboring properties.
