The 63LM is for older openers with 9 small DIP switches inside. If your opener has a colored "learn" button instead, you need the 373LM (purple) or 973LM (green/orange/red).
Programming the 63LM
Each button has its own independent 9-switch DIP block. Match each button to a different receiver to control three doors.
- Open the back cover of the 63LM. There are three independent 9-switch DIP banks — one per button.
- For each opener: open its receiver and set the matching 9-switch DIP block to the same pattern as one of the button banks.
- Replace covers and test each button. All three should activate their assigned receivers within 100 feet.
Pick a unique pattern for each opener. Avoid all-up or all-down patterns to reduce conflict risk with neighbors.
