Programming the 3280
New 3280 units ship with the purple Security+ learn button. Pair remotes and keypads with the procedure below.
- Press the purple learn button on the back of the motor unit. The indicator light stays on for 30 seconds.
- Within 30 seconds, press and hold the desired button on your remote until the motor light blinks twice.
- Repeat for each additional remote — capacity is 8 remotes plus 1 wireless keypad.
For a wireless keypad, follow the same procedure but enter your 4-digit PIN on the keypad during step 2 instead of pressing a remote button.
