Programming the 3255
New 3255 units ship with the purple Security+ learn button. Pair remotes and keypads with the procedure below.
- Press the purple learn button on the back of the motor unit. The indicator light stays on for 30 seconds.
- Within 30 seconds, press and hold the desired button on your remote until the motor light blinks twice.
- Repeat for each additional remote — capacity is 8 remotes plus 1 wireless keypad.
The 3255 ships with a 1-button 371LM. To control multiple doors from one visor remote, upgrade to the 2-, 3-, or 4-button variant — same Security+ pairing procedure applies.
